SUFN OS smart system
Built in-house by AIBAISI, founded in Qianhai, Shenzhen in 2023: 24 RF channels polled automatically, local cross-gateway, cross-router and cellular meshing, edge computing pushed down to the local gateway, millisecond scene response.
SUFN OS rests on one claim: automation logic has to stay in the house. Most whole-home systems put scene logic in the cloud, so one uplink failure stops lighting, shading and security together. SUFN OS pushes scene logic and device computation down to the local gateway, so automation still holds when the network does not.
24 RF channels, polled automatically
Twenty-four RF channels are polled automatically and switched in milliseconds when interference appears, addressing the noise and packet loss of thick walls and many appliances.
Local cross-gateway linking
Scene logic executes on the gateway itself: with a gateway offline, a router down or a floor disconnected, scenes still complete locally rather than waiting on the cloud.
Cross-router and cellular meshing
LAN segmentation is removed so devices discover and link across routers, and every device relays for the next — one failure does not take the network down.
Millisecond response, bank-grade encryption
Millisecond response from gateway to panel to app, even with a hundred fixtures firing at once, with end-to-end encryption and locally closed command loops.
Eight smart ecosystems
| Ecosystem | Devices | Typical scene |
|---|---|---|
| Security | Network and SIM cameras, video doorbells, smart locks | Away mode: locks close and lights and curtains shut down; an unexpected door opening turns everything on |
| Fresh air | Ventilation units linked to shading | Ventilation responds to air quality and time of day, linked to shading to cut solar gain |
| Voice AI | Voice control entry point | Natural-language control of devices and scenes, with no fixed command syntax |
| Smart lighting | Smart fixtures, tape and drivers | 0.01% dimming depth with consistent colour temperature and brightness across the home |
| Smart shading | Motorised blinds and curtains | Open and close by sun position and scene, linked to lighting, HVAC and ventilation |
| Presence sensing | Presence and motion sensors, door contacts, smoke and water-leak sensors | Lights follow presence; leaks and smoke raise a whole-home alert |
| Home cinema | SU Cinema K set, subwoofers, desktop and in-ceiling speakers | Cinema scene: lighting drops to 5–10%, shades close, AV starts |
| Background music | Zoned background audio | Zoned playback switching in step with lighting scenes, with different sets for breakfast, reading and night |
The hardware behind the eight ecosystems
The nine technologies in full
| Technology | Problem it solves | How |
|---|---|---|
| Multi-channel link | Thick walls and many appliances cause interference and packet loss. | 24 RF channels polled automatically, switching to the best one in milliseconds. |
| Local cross-gateway linking | Cloud-dependent systems collapse when the uplink drops. | Scene logic executes on the gateway itself, linking across floors with the uplink or a gateway offline. |
| Bank-grade encryption | Lighting, sensor and lock data is deeply private. | End-to-end encryption with local command closure; remote access encrypted too. |
| Interoperability | Single-ecosystem lock-in. | Open to third-party devices over Matter, HomeKit and Xiaodu. |
| Stable wireless | Wireless drops, lost commands and constant reconnection. | Communication logic rebuilt at protocol level with an in-house RF module. |
| Cross-router networking | Split routers isolate devices from each other. | Removes LAN segmentation so devices discover and link across routers. |
| Cellular mesh | Multi-storey homes have dead zones. | Devices relay for each other; one failure does not take the network down. |
| Millisecond response | Scenes, presence triggers and key presses feel slow. | Millisecond response gateway-to-panel-to-app, even with a hundred fixtures firing at once. |
| Edge computing | Concurrency depends on cloud compute that disappears offline. | Scene logic and device computation run on the local gateway, not the cloud. |
Frequently asked questions
QCan the lights still be controlled if the internet drops?
Yes. Scene logic and device computation run on the local gateway, so an uplink outage does not affect local control. With a gateway offline, a router down or a floor disconnected, gateways still complete the scene locally.
QWhich smart-home ecosystems are supported?
SUFN publicly lists Matter, Apple HomeKit and Xiaodu, and extends device coverage with Tencent Cloud. Other ecosystems such as Mi Home or HarmonyOS depend on the current release — get a written compatibility list and test report before signing.
QDoes a hundred-fixture scene stutter?
No. Response is millisecond-level from gateway to panel to app, even with a hundred fixtures firing at once, and the 0.01% dimming depth keeps brightness and colour matched across circuits and fixtures.
QDoes the smart system need new wiring?
No. The smart range works with standard household wiring, including neutral-wire installation, so both retrofit and new-build homes are suitable. Plan panels by zone, keeping a physical panel in the living room, the main circulation route and at every bedside.
